A logbook service is performed according to the specific requirements outlined in the vehicle manufacturer’s logbook. This includes checks, replacements, and adjustments that match the manufacturer's recommendations for your vehicle. A logbook service is often necessary to uphold the vehicle’s warranty. If there are any other issues, they are noted and discussed with you before any work is done.

A basic service usually involves essential maintenance checks and is not specifically tailored to the manufacturer’s guidelines. It includes an oil and oil filter change, fluid top-ups, and visual inspections of all major components like brakes, suspension, and tyres. Everything is still inspected and any issues are noted and discussed with you before any work is done.

From time-to-time, or from the findings of a recent service, you might require specific maintenance to be done. For instance, the vehicle might require simply a coolant flush, a brake fluid flush, a trasmission service, and so on. Specific aspects of a vehicle's maintenance routine can be done outside the standard service...it also helps spread the cost of such maintenance items to help with your budget.

Specific items such as fixing oil leaks, replacing suspension components, and so on, can be done outside the standard routine of the vehicle's normal service. We are equipped to handle most repairs and complete them the same day. Need more information, a quote, or even a second opinion? Call us.

 A small wear indicator will contact the brake rotor causing the brakes to ‘squeal’, a warning that the friction material on the brake pads is excessively low.  Or, if the surface of the brake disc has excessively heated, or has a ‘rusty’ coating, this too will cause a squealing noise when the brakes are applied.  There may also be other factors, but to be sure, a quick visual check of your brakes is the easiest way to determine what work will be required. 

Getting too hot in your car? Air conditioning just not cold enough? Maybe it's time to bring in your car so we can look at your air-conditioning system.  In Australia, particularly during our warmer months, a working air conditioning system is vital in keeping your cool on long trips or navigating your way through slow city traffic.  Book in now for an air-conditioning service and/or regas.

Some fixes are more obvious, such as a compressor fail. Others though are not so obvious, and nfortunately, even soon after a re-gas, the system may not work as it should. However, when we re-gas a system, a dye is added so that it can be seen under UV light. This will assist in determining where the leak is and then we can discuss what further work may be required.

We are very experienced and well-equipped to conduct safety certificates (roadworthys) on behalf of the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland. Unlike services which exclusively provide this service, we also provide you with a plan to address any issues, including competitive quotes to complete the work.
